For decades, the College of the Holy Cross has enjoyed a stellar reputation for its science programs and for preparing students to become leaders in medicine, research, and a wide variety of professions.
Opened in January, the new Integrated Science Complex — which knits together six departments and five buildings — ensures Holy Cross’ position as a leader in science education. In a video, Timothy R. Austin, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College, explains why science is an integral part of a liberal arts education.
Charles “Chick” Weiss, official coordinator of the science complex, lists what makes the Holy Cross science programs unique, and the profound impact the science complex is already having on faculty and students.
