“Ten Years After 9/11, America’s Safety Still in Doubt”

CNBC.com

In a CNBC.com article, Ward Thomas, an expert in national security and professor of political science at the College of the Holy Cross, says that despite changes to U.S. security since the attacks on the World Trade Center, the country is not much safer than it was before September 11, 2001.

Thomas told the reporter, “I'm skeptical of anyone who can answer the question 'Are we safer?' with a simple yes or no. We are better in some ways, but not necessarily in others."
