Journey to the Center of the Earth, the first live-action movie to be shot in digital 3-D, grossed $21 million at the box office this weekend, adding another jewel to the crown of Walden Media’s growing slate of popular family-friendly flicks.

Francis X. “Chip” Flaherty Jr. ’86, executive vice president and general counsel for Walden Media, delivered a talk to students interested in pursuing a career in business when he visited campus this spring .
