Kiplinger's Personal Finance Names Holy Cross to its “Best Value” List

WORCESTER, Mass. – Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine has ranked the College of the Holy Cross 15th among liberal arts colleges across the country in “The Kiplinger 100: Best Value in Private Colleges” list, which appears in Kiplinger's December 2010 issue.

Holy Cross was selected from a pool of more than 600 private institutions that were ranked according to academic quality and affordability. This the third year in a row the College has been included in the top 15.

Holy Cross remains committed to meeting full demonstrated financial need of accepted students, and is one of only a handful of colleges in the U.S. that also has need-blind admission policy. “Financial aid is a top priority for the College and will continue to be as it considers its next strategic plan,” explains Lynne Myers, director of financial aid. “Holy Cross has set aside reserves and is building flexibility into the future budget to meet increased financial needs for students and their families.”
