Don"t miss Fall Homecoming 2006!  Join fellow Crusaders and their families on Saturday, September 30 for a full day of activities on Mount St. James.  Additional events are planned throughout the weekend.  See a complete schedule of events below:

Armed Forces reunion

To commemorate the Worcester Naval ROTC Unit’s 65th anniversary and to honor all veterans from Holy Cross, WPI and Worcester State College, the O’Callahan NROTC Committee and the Holy Cross Alumni Office are hosting this reunion on September 29 and 30. The reunion, on the Holy Cross campus, begins Friday evening, September 29th with an informal social. It continues on Saturday with lunch and Holy Cross football game. The reunion concludes Saturday evening with drinks and dinner at the Hogan Campus Center with our guest speaker, Rear Admiral Bill McCarthy, a 1976 graduate of Holy Cross and the Unit. There will be a training workshop for all current AAP volunteers at 10:00 a.m. in Hogan Campus Center. Women's Field Hockey

Come out and cheer on the Crusaders as they take on Lafayette!  The game begins at 12:00 noon behind the Hart Center. Pre-game festivities

Freshman Field will be the site of the “Tailgate Lunch” and the center of activity in the morning and mid-day hours preceding the game. Parking is available there, as well as in the Hogan parking lot. The baseball field is reserved for season ticket holders. Tail-gating activities will begin 10:00 a.m. and end at the kickoff of the game. Football

Return to Mt. St. James and catch the Crusaders as they face the Rams of Fordham at 1:00 p.m. on Fitton Field. After the game watch the presentation of The John B. Turco ’52 Memorial Trophy, awarded for the 40th straight year to the Homecoming game’s outstanding player. Good Time Marching Band alumni day

Join Crusader Band Musicians, young and old, as they come together once again to celebrate the “Annual Crusader Band Alumni Day” at Holy Cross. The performance will take place during halftime of the football game. Post-game cheer

Join fellow alumni, families and friends for light snacks and relive all of the day’s activities at a post-game reception [4 to 7 p.m. in Hogan Crossroads Pub (basement)]. Holy Cross Lawyers Association meeting

Please join us at 4:00 p.m. in Hogan 320 for a brief annual meeting followed by a networking reception with light hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. Mass

Celebration of Mass will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Mary Chapel. Dedication

6:30 p.m.  Dedication of the Greene Family Plaza at the entrance of the new Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium.  There will be a brief dedication ceremony prior to the Men's Soccer game vs. Navy at 7 p.m. Men's Soccer

Men’s soccer will be playing Navy at 7 p.m. at the new Linda Johnson Smith Stadium. This state-of-the-art facility behind the Hart Center features a top-quality grass surface, aluminum stands, lights, a press box, and a scoreboard. Kimball Theater
