Leon Claessens, assistant professor of biology at the College of the Holy Cross, will discuss the study he co-authored on the evolution of birds on "Worcester: Academically Speaking" on Dec. 18 and Jan. 1 at 7:30 a.m. on WTAG AM 580.
Dr. Claessens describes in clear and accessible language how the breathing systems of birds reveal that they descended from dinosaurs. Read his article published in the journal Nature this past July.
