Classes are almost over, and the school year is winding down. That means it’s time for spring weekend, April 24 – 29.Spring Weekend Kick Off Upper Kimball, 5 – 8 p.m.
Kick off Spring Weekend with competitions between classes, a balloonist, caricaturist and a henna tattoo artist.
Friday, April 25
Comedy Central Indecision Tour 2008 headlining Greg Giraldo Hogan Ballroom, doors open at 9 p.m., show starts at 10 p.m.
Laugh out loud while comedians Greg Girado, Dan Levy, and James Adomian dominate the stage.
Dominate in 08’ Olympics Fieldhouse, 11 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Dominate the court. Choose from volleyball, soccer, or basketball. The event will be played in a round robin format, so every team will play everyone in their bracket. Prizes will be given out for gold, silver, and bronze.
Sat. April 26
Spring Carnival and BBQ Hart Lawn, 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. (Rain: Hart Center Hallway)
A fun-filled carnival with a BBQ, fried dough and cotton candy. Amusements include the moonwalk, jousting ring, sports tug of war, inflatable basketball, rapid slide, tubs of fun, adrenaline rush, an obstacle course, the defender dome and the wrecking ball.
Fireworks Hart Lawn, 8:30 p.m.
After the carnival, pull up a blanket and enjoy the show.
The Edge – Groove Boston Field House, 10:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
The Boston club scene comes to campus; grab your friends and dominate the dance floor.
Tues. April 29
Dominate in ’08 Concert: Jason Mraz with Everclear, featuring Bushwalla and Justin Kredible Hart Center, doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Celebrate the end of the school year with Jason Mraz and friends.
