Jessie J will headline this year’s Spring Concert at the College of the Holy Cross on May 4 at 8 p.m. in the Hart Recreation Center. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Jessie J is a pop singer and songwriter from London. She has garnered major success worldwide with her albums “Who You Are” (2011), “Alive” (2013), and her most recent “Sweet Talker” (2014). Sweet Talker debuted at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and is her first top 10 album and her highest charting album in the U.S. to date. The lead single from the album “Bang Bang” features Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande debuted at No. one in the U.K. and became a top 10 hit in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Bulgaria.
DJ Pup Dawg from JAM’N 94.5 will open the concert and is known to be one of the more powerful DJs in hip-hop.
Tickets will be sold on the first floor of the Hogan Campus Center April 13-17 from 4 - 6 p.m. They will also be available for purchase in the campus bookstore starting on April 20. Tickets can also be purchased at the door or online.
Tickets are $20 for Holy Cross students with an ID (limit 2 per student), $25 for Holy Cross faculty and staff, and $30 for students in the Colleges of the Worcester Consortium.
Previous headlining acts for the annual Spring Concert, sponsored by the Campus Activities Board (CAB), have included Nelly, J. Cole, Drake, Jason Mraz, Lupe Fiasco and Guster.
