WORCESTER, Mass. – Organist Karel Paukert will perform a concert on March 19 at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph Memorial Chapel at the College of the Holy Cross. As part of the Holy Cross Chapel Artists Series, Paukert will perform German and Czech organ music from many centuries. The concert is free and open to the public. St. Joseph Chapel is handicapped accessible.
Paukert has recently been named Curator of Musical Arts Emeritus of the Cleveland Museum of Art. A native of the Czech Republic, he has toured the world and is regarded as a specialist in Czech organ music. This will mark his first performance as part of the Holy Cross Chapel Artists Series.
