Matt Ginn Signs With The Florida Everblades

Holy Cross graduating senior goalie Matt Ginn from Lindsay, Ontario has signed an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement with the ECHL"s Florida Everblades. The Everblades are the affiliate of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes, along with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch and Charlotte Checkers. The Everblades have 15 regular season games remaining and are in first place in the Eastern Conference.

This season, Ginn posted a school-record .931 save percentage, while he also tallied a school-record four shutouts. His 2.10 goals against average was first all-time in the school's Division I era. Ginn just recently earned first team All-Atlantic Hockey honors.
