Each year, the Holy Cross Spring Break Immersion Program allows students to build relationships across economic, regional and cultural differences throughout the country.
Earlier this month, students traveled to Rindge, N.H., for a week on Sun Moon Farm, a community-centered CSA run by Craig Jensen '02.
"I hope that the Holy Cross students would leave here thinking about meals a little bit differently," said Jensen, who encouraged students to expand their perspective on food, simplicity, sustainability and farming culture.
For Jake Ruderman '26, being conscious of what he eats and aware of where and how it's grown are things he will consider going forward.
"Should I be eating it? Am I having a negative impact on the environment is the biggest takeaway," he said.
