For the second year in a row, the College of the Holy Cross ranks No. 2 among the 10 best Roman Catholic colleges in the country, according to USA Today College.
In the article, the College is praised for its devotion to “providing an undergraduate liberal arts education,” and “giving students the opportunity to work closely with faculty members in order to promote innovative thinking across numerous disciplines.”
Holy Cross is surpassed only by the University of Notre Dame which ranks No. 1, and is followed by Georgetown University at No. 3 and Boston College at No. 4 on the list.
The ranking also highlights that Holy Cross gives “students the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference in the world,” and notes that the College is “highly selective and accepts only a handful of applicants so if you want to attend this school, it’s important to hit those books.”
