"I think the most compelling lesson from Bobby's [Kennedy] final years is that, through loss and personal suffering, he found the courage to follow his moral compass to articulate for the country a sense of the common good," said Stephanie Yuhl, professor of history at the College of the Holy Cross. "This is a value that we are severely lacking in today's political discourse."

In an article for Cape Cod Times, Yuhl shared her thoughts on Robert F. Kennedy and his legacy on the 50th anniversary of his death. This and more will be among the topics discussed during "A Morning With the Kennedys," a One Day University event scheduled for June 24 in Hyannis, where Yuhl is set to headline a presentation titled "The Rise of Jack and Bobby: the America That Made the Kennedys."

During this presentation, Yuhl will explore key elements of the historical context post-1945, that help explain how Robert F. Kennedy and his brother John F. Kennedy were able to position themselves as agents of social change in mid-century American politics.
