Bloomberg News. Fullbridge provides a six-day workshop for Holy Cross students, giving an introduction to business and teaching them entrepreneurial skills. In addition, students “work collaboratively on team-based projects to build their business competencies and self-confidence while tackling real-world business situations.”
Holy Cross’ Ciocca Office of Entrepreneurial Studies (COES) and its prebusiness program partnered with Fullbridge as just another step in the numerous opportunities they provide students to grow in their business knowledge. As highlighted in the articles, the COES Professional Program provides Holy Cross students with internship opportunities, Excel tutorials, and recommendations for prebusiness classes. COES is applauded as a program that is “unique to the college.”
The COES Program combined with Fullbridge gives Holy Cross students a broad liberal arts background in problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking while also providing students with applicable business knowledge. David Chu, Holy Cross director of entrepreneurial studies and prebusiness advisor praised the new workshop, stating that students are given “superb Fullbridge coaching that enables them to articulate the value proposition of their education to the marketplace.”
Fullbridge Professional Edge is just the beginning of many college-sponsored workshops, shark tank competitions, and other programs that allow Holy Cross students to become competitive entrepreneurs and business leaders.
A Fullbridge Professional Edge workshop just wrapped up at the College in May and another is set to run in the week before classes begin, August 24-29, 2015. To read more visit the Holy Cross’ prebusiness website.
