David Chu, associate professor of accounting, director of entrepreneurial studies and pre-business advisor,at the College of the Holy Cross, and Roger Barry, CEO of the Fullbridge Program, were recently interviewed by Joe Shortsleeve ’79 for The Shortsleeve Report on WMEX.
During the interview, Chu discussed the benefits of the Fullbridge Program and the Ciocca Office of Entrepreneurial Studies. Since 2014,the Fullbridge Program has trained over 500 Holy Cross students to work on a team and manage programs, preparing graduates to effectively work in today’s business world.
“It opens their eyes to a full work day and allows them to garner knowledge on team work and what a business does in order to use this knowledge combined with their liberal arts education in interviews,” said Chu. “[The program] introduces students to functional areas of business, like marketing and advertising, and gives students the opportunity to explore their business interests if they are unsure what being involved in business is really about.”
