College Factual ranked the College of the Holy Cross No. 2 Best Catholic College in the Nation, No. 5 Best Massachusetts College, and No. 35 overall among 1,387 Best Nationwide Colleges. Holy Cross was also awarded 91 badges, which signifies that the College ranked in the top 15 percent, 10 percent, five percent or one percent of 91 categories, including the most focused students in the social sciences, and best college overall.
Some of Holy Cross’ academic programs landed in the top 10 in the nation, including English Language & Literature, which was ranked No. 9, and religious studies, also ranked No. 9.
In order to establish its rankings, College Factual partners with USA Today, and uses 11 metrics obtained from the U.S. Department of Education and PayScale.com.
