Izzy van der Spuy ’26 came to Holy Cross from England to play field hockey, but found her home in the classroom – whether that’s studying with her classmates, completing summer research on quantum physics with a professor, or exploring the connections between Buddhist philosophy and the way physics explains the world for her senior thesis.
