Summer Plans
I am a research intern, and along with some other colleagues, I am facilitating a novel COVID-19 vaccine research study. I also attend and occasionally present at conferences about pediatric pulmonology and other research studies.
Lessons Learned
Many doctors have suggested that this vaccine study has publishing potential, so I am looking forward to that. I have also learned so much about pulmonology diagnoses and treatments, patient care and how to be successful at doing research from home.
The Holy Cross Difference
Holy Cross prepared me for my internship by instilling in me a strong work ethic and a high motivation to learn.
What's Next
This internship opportunity reinforced my aspirations of pursuing a career in medical research.
