U.S. News & World Report, based on the data roughly 1,100 universities submitted to the media company.

We have a thriving relationship with our alumni, who tell us they feel a need to give back for the experience they had as undergraduates at Holy Cross."
According to the report, Holy Cross is among schools like Princeton University, Williams College, Amherst College and Bowdoin College, with eight of the 10 institutions being liberal arts colleges.
Holy Cross has built a tradition of annual giving, and in 2017, for the eleventh consecutive year, alumni gave at a rate of 50 percent or more, based on Holy Cross methodology also commonly used at colleges across the country to rate alumni giving participation. U.S. News & World Report, which uses a different methodology, puts Holy Cross at 46.1 percent. According to the report, the average rate for alumni contributions among the institutions included in the U.S. News & World Report's data is 11.1 percent.
