WHY HE CHOSE HOLY CROSS “I applied to Holy Cross because of its excellent academics and the many positives of its liberal arts education, such as small classes and the personalized education. However, I fell in love with Holy Cross because of the ideals of ‘cura personalis’ (‘care of the whole person’) and ‘men and women for and with others.’ Holy Cross expressed a genuine interest in helping me to develop into not just a better student but a more complete person. The Holy Cross community also impressed me with the warmth of its welcome and its dedication to helping others. In short, Holy Cross felt like home.”

WHY HE’S BLOGGING “I am blogging because I enjoy reflecting upon my own experiences through writing and because I love Holy Cross! I read all of the first-year blogs when I was applying to Holy Cross, and I knew even then that I wanted to share my experiences as a Holy Cross student with future Crusaders. I hope to give prospective students some insight into the unique and special student experience at Holy Cross in the same way that past bloggers did for me.”
