Men’s Lacrosse Team Rings the Nasdaq Closing Bell

K.J. Rawson, assistant professor of English at Holy Cross, launched the world’s first Digital Transgender Archive (DTA), a collection of transgender-related historical materials. more »

6,200 Donors Take Part in ‘Give Purple’ Challenge

Former Holy Cross President, Fr. Reedy, Dies

The network of Jesuit colleges and universities, along with countless colleagues, students, and friends mourned the death of former Holy Cross president Rev. Gerard C. Reedy, S.J., who died March 11. He was 76. more »

Crusaders Move On to NCAA Tournament First Round With 59-55 Victory Over Southern

The Holy Cross men’s basketball team won 59-55 over Southern in NCAA Tournament First Four action on March 16. The win for Holy Cross was its first NCAA Tournament victory since 1953. more »

According to an article on Time.com, if the NCAA men’s basketball tournament was determined by performance in the classroom, Holy Cross would be crowned the national champions. more »

Data: Holy Cross Grads Highly Employable, Happy



According to a report compiled by the Center for Career Development at Holy Cross, the mean starting salary of its 2015 graduates was $48,455. In addition, Holy Cross graduates were in high demand in a variety of professions and industries, ranging from accounting to utilities brokering. more »

The Holy Cross men’s varsity four placed fourth in the Grand Final at the 114th Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship on June 5 on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. The Crusaders placed fourth overall in the 28-boat varsity four competition. more »

In Memoriam: Ogretta McNeil, Associate Professor Emerita of Psychology



Ogretta McNeil, the first woman hired on a tenure track to teach in the psychology department and the first African-American woman to serve on the faculty at Holy Cross, passed away on Oct. 5. She was 84. more »

Holy Cross Athletics Ranks in National Top 20 for Graduation Success Rate

The College’s athletic teams tied for 17th in the nation out of 351 Division I schools with an overall graduation rate of 97 percent, according to the Graduation Success Rate Report released by the NCAA. more »

Sculpture Stands as Symbol of Community and Dialogue at Holy Cross



Patrick Dougherty’s Stickwork sculptures have graced more than 250 sites around the world — from the open fields of the Scottish Highlands to the Riniyo-in Temple in Chiba, Japan. This fall, Holy Cross became home to one of the renowned artist’s most recent works, which stands on Linden Lane in playful conversation with the campus’ surrounding architecture. more »

In Memoriam: Rev. Anthony J. Kuzniewski, S.J., 1945-2016



Rev. Anthony J. Kuzniewski, S.J., professor emeritus of history at Holy Cross, died on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at the Campion Health Center in Weston, Mass. at the age of 71 after a swift battle with cancer. more »
