Holy Cross Magazine has undergone several iterations during its lifespan. The alumni publication debuted in 1927 as a newsletter entitled “The Alumnus.” Four decades later, in 1967, it became “Crossroads.” In 1997, the publication evolved into a traditional magazine format and size, renaming itself “Holy Cross Magazine.”
Its latest evolution, in 2024, includes the launch of an immersive website that showcases human-based stories and topics through vibrant videos, extraordinary photography, scintillating audio, and genuine narratives. As the magazine continues its print legacy, it too has experienced an update to match its 21st-century digital counterpart.
In creating the latest version of the College’s informational hub, Holy Cross Magazine looked to the past, resurrecting an icon that appeared at the turn of the last century: the interlocking HC that appears here and on the magazine’s cover is at least 120 years old.
